Positive: The location is perfect as we have been coming to Fairbourne for years, and it's just a short drive away from the village and beach front. The inside you can tell has been updated since we stayed a few years back. Really pleased to see this as it's a lovely cottage. It was very clean and spacious. Well stocked and had everything we needed. It has such a homely feel to it and would love to return again in the near future.

Negative: The only downside was that the beds were very hard to sleep on and could do with replacing. But other than that, perfect!

Negative: Beds weren't that comfortable.had to use spare duvet as mattress topper as used to having one at home.beds maybe comfortable to everyone else.not enough cupboard space to put food in but made do with spare drawers in lounge.had trouble with electric hob.had to look up on internet how to use it.couldnt work TV or dvd player.no hdmi 1on TV source.

Positive: Very quiet peaceful location thoroughly enjoyed our week away. The space, rooms all very good sizes. Close to village that you could get everything you needed. Great train service and extremely reasonable.

Negative: The way other people have ruined carpets by spilling drinks and not cleaning it up! Very sad to this lovely home and the owners who now will have to replace when the season is over 😢😢

Summary: So very peaceful break and good weather too! Easy walk to a beautiful clean beach and not busy too! Lovely clean village

Positive: Lovely little cottage with a lot of potential

Negative: It wasn't clean. We had to wash all pots before we could.use them. A deep clean is needed. Places like under the sofas and in the kitchen draws were dirty. Some light switches and plug sockets were a danger and some didn't work at all. The welcome book is outdated and has a lot to be desired. Wallpaper coming off the walls and cobwebs all around. The carpets were stained and need replacing. The outdoors is lovely but could look a lot better and is over grown.

Positive: Lovely cottage in a quiet location outside Fairbourne , within easy driving distance of Barmouth and Talybont. Comfy lounge and dining room , well equipped kitchen , great bathroom. We loved the welcome package of the wine, bread and milk. Recommend the George iii pub and restaurant up the road , fabulous food and lovely views over the estuary.

Negative: its a lovely cottage but needs a bit of loving care, a lick of paint and new carpet downstairs , and has mold in the back bedrooms.
